Ms. De la Puente was Vice Chairman for Latin America at J.P. Morgan until January 2007, responsible for J.P. Morgan’s senior clients in the region. Currently, Ms. de la Puente is an advisor of several companies, including The Rohatyn Group, a New York based asset management firm focused on emerging markets.
Ms. de la Puente has received a series of recognitions for her achievements: Euromoney named her “One of the Top Women in Finance”; CNN/Time Magazine called her “One of the 50 Young Latin American Leaders for the New Millennium”; Global Finance Magazine named her “one of the 20 Most Powerful Women in Global Finance”; Magazine Poder in conjunction with the Economist, named her the “Best Latin American Investment Banker” and America Economia named her “Top 10 Most Powerful Women in Latin America”.
Ms. De la Puente, a native of Peru, obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the Arthur D. Little School of Management (Boston, MA.) and a Bachelor in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad del Pacifico (Lima, Peru).
