Hypatia Capital Group is a private equity sponsor and merchant banking firm whose deal sourcing strategy focuses on the top female executives of the Fortune 1000. Since 2007, we have developed one of the largest networks of female operating executives for deal sourcing purposes. With over 100 CEO level executives in our network, Hypatia is looking for Senior Transaction Executives to take this network to the next level by focusing on the transaction opportunities inherent in such a network – private equity, mergers & acquisitions and capital raising transactions.

This highly strategic role requires a broadly skilled individual with the intellectual horsepower to think of value creating transactions, the client skills to bring the interested parties to the table, and the transactional capabilities to move deals forward.

Individuals will take a lead role in interfacing with senior level operating executives in Hypatia’s proprietary network. Through industry focus, they will uncover potential transaction opportunities. They will work with the Managing Partner to develop new business by meeting with and making presentations to prospective clients when appropriate.

Deal professionals will be charged with a high degree of responsibility for their assigned industries, challenging themselves in an entrepreneurial deal origination setting.

Qualifications

Previous Wall Street investment banking experience at a least the Vice President level in mergers & acquisitions, or industry or client coverage.

Compensation structure

Senior deal executives will have the option of flexible work schedules and time commitments and will be compensated on performance. There is no base salary associated with this role, but a large variable for completed transactions.
